Description

Make steel target shooting easier than ever with the completely collapsible and incredibly portable PT Practice Stand.

The PT Practice Target was designed to get rid of frustrating traditional bulky steel targets that don't easily fit in cars. Action Target has created the perfect portable steel target system. The result is now one of the most popular steel targets ever made.

PT Practice Stand comes with a tripod stand that collapses down to less then 3' in length and seven target head options in both pistol-grade AR500 steel and rifle-grade AR550 steel. With the addition of two locking height positions (adjusted by rotating the target stand neck), you can adjust for various training scenarios and terrain. The PT Practice Stand is also available with 10 traditional cowboy action target head shapes.

Specifications:

FAQs

How does my PT Practice Stand ship?: The stand ships pre-assembled and collapsed. it comes with two lock nuts, two wing nuts, and two carriage bolts. You can use the wing nuts to mount the target head by hand, or use a 3/4" socket to mount the target head with the lock nuts.

Does the name "PT Practice Stand" apply to a specific target head?: The name "PT Practice Stand" applies to the collapsible stand and not to a particular target head. Because the bolt holes are all the same, you can attach any Action Target target head to the PT Practice Stand as long as it isn't too heavy (e.g. PT IPSC Torso, PT IPSC Hostage, PT IPSC A-Zone, etc.).

Why are there two sets of bolt holes on the stand?: The PT Practice Stand has two settings. The high setting is 3' tall, and the lower setting is 2' tall. You can set it to the lower setting by pulling the neck back 90 degrees and then pushing down until it locks in place. You can then mount the target head using the bolt holes located on the front of the round handle. The lower setting provides increased stability for heavier target heads (e.g. PT Torso, PT Hostage, etc.).
